Based on the latest from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, the hopes that we could return to the business of fun and be welcoming you back are unfortunately not the case. The constantly changing news concerning COVID-19 makes reopening an impossibility at this time.
The green light to back to life routine is just on hold and we will be in touch as to the reopening process when that time comes. Until then, to receive updates about our facility, please be sure to follow us on our website www.bigeventfun.com and our social media outlets.
We have said from start this COVID-19 virus became a health issue in the United States, safety and health of our guests and our staff members is PRIORITY #1. We will continue to monitor updates from the CDC, WHO and the New Jersey Department of Health on the status of this virus and how best to proceed in the weeks to come.
We miss you all and will continue to stay in touch during the coming weeks. Our sincere hope is that you, your family and friends remain safe and healthy.

Frequently Asked Questions
I was at The Big Event recently, should I be concerned?
At this time we have had no known cases connected to our center, whether it be via employees or guests. If we do learn of any cases connected to our center, we will show full disclosure to the public for public safety purposes within the law.
What happens with my league and the prize fund we’ve paid into?
If you are a league bowler, please contact your league officers to find out the status of your league. We have encouraged all leagues to consider postponing for the next few weeks to see what happens with the virus.
What happens with my reservation?
All reservations that have been paid are being contacted daily, if the reservations were during a mandatory closure period or during the estimated closure. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When do you plan to reopen?
Although our center is family owned, we have an obligation to abide by rules set forth by our Government in the name of public health. We will open our center accordingly, in order to ensure the safety of our Guests and employees. We miss you all too and can’t wait to be back.
I’m worried for the staff, how are you assisting them?
The staff that helps to run our center as a Team are one of our main priorities. We have plans set in place to assist them if in need, and will also help lead them to the appropriate Federal and State programs that may become available.
Are your facilities cleaned and sanitized?
As always, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our centers. We are continuing to sanitize all games, seating areas, shoes, counter tops, restrooms, door handles, balls and finger holes, any touchable surface throughout this time of closure. We have special staff that is appropriated to the sanitation of our center.
